All Art is Local
Abstract art comes from everyday life. The energy source of any great painting is the reality it’s rooted in: a boardwalk hotel, a breaking wave, a bikini. What can I say? I grew up at the beach.

The Eye Has to Travel
I’m a surfer from a small East Coast beach town, but I’ve always had a vision of that timeless, Edenic shoreline, too. Hometown influences mix with favorite images from museums and movies: Greek caryatids, Doo Wop architecture, Hawaii Five-0, et al.
