The Jonah Drawings
a Collaborative Project

My buddy, Carl Goldhagen, and I thought we would take turns working on the same drawing, but what we usually ended up doing was both drawing at the same time. This must be what it feels like to be in a band.

Seeing Double

Painting is normally a solitary pursuit, so working collaboratively has been a very new thing, for both of us. The large scale of these drawings allows us to work simultaneously. We move around the surface, trading places if one of us gets stuck on something. The Jonah narrative isn’t complete yet, but we’ll have to pick up the thread again when the virus dies down.
